The central Real street in Gines will host the traditional Velá of the Sacramental Brotherhood this Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September, starting at 21:00, with free entry and activities for all audiences.
The Sacramental Brotherhood of Gines is finalising preparations for its traditional Velá, which will take place on Real street on 11 and 12 September. The event is set to kick off at 21:00 on both days, and entry will be free until capacity is reached.
The event is organised by the Young Group of the brotherhood itself, with the collaboration of the Gines Town Hall. The aim is to provide a community meeting point in the heart of the municipality, with Real street as the main stage.
The programme includes live music, bingo and popular raffles, as well as a gastronomic offering with various tapas. The Velá is designed as a community activity open to all citizens, with no access restrictions.
The celebration will serve as a prelude to the Solemn Glorious Triduum in honour of Our Lady of the Crowned Sorrows, which the Sacramental will celebrate from 13 to 15 September at the Parish of Our Lady of Bethlehem.
“This activity, organised with the collaboration of the Young Group of the brotherhood and the Town Hall, is presented as a space for coexistence, leisure and tradition open to all citizens.”
For the residents of Gines, the Velá represents an opportunity for free leisure in the urban area over the weekend, with activities designed for all ages. The organisation recommends attendees check for any last-minute updates through the usual channels of the brotherhood.
