The municipality of Gines celebrated its fifth 'White Night' of the summer at the municipal pool this Thursday.
The municipality of Gines reopened the doors of its municipal pool for night hours this Thursday, 3rd September, to celebrate a new edition of the 'White Night', an initiative that has now reached its fifth event of the season.
The activity, organised by the Sports Department of the Gines Town Hall, aims to provide residents with a refreshing alternative to the high temperatures recorded during the nights of this summer.
For four hours, from 20:30 to 23:30, attendees were able to enjoy a night swim in a family-friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Entry was free for all those registered in the municipality, a condition that has been maintained in all editions this year.
The event attracted people of all ages, although there was a particularly notable presence of young people, who found in this activity a way to combat the night heat.
The 'White Nights' are reaching their ninth edition this year and have become one of the most popular summer proposals among the citizens of Gines, who respond with high participation every time a new day is announced.
The next event at the municipal pool will depend on weather conditions and the programming prepared by the Sports Department for the remainder of the summer.
