The Town Hall of Espartinas has appointed Antonio Miranda and Eugenio Mantero, firefighters and rescuers linked to the municipality, as godfathers of the 2026 Fair.

The Espartinas Fair 2026 will have exceptional godfathers. The Town Hall has announced that Antonio Miranda and Eugenio Mantero, firefighters and rescuers linked to the municipality, will preside over the festive events in recognition of their work in international emergency missions alongside their rescue dogs.

Both have participated in natural disasters such as the earthquakes in Turkey and Venezuela, where their work was crucial in locating victims trapped under rubble. The Town Council highlights their "commitment, bravery, and dedication to saving human lives," which is why the community wishes to pay tribute to them.

The central event will be the lighting ceremony, which will take place on Thursday, September 3 at 10:00 PM at the Entrance of the Fairgrounds. The ceremony will feature the performance of anthems by the Espartinas Music Band.

The Town Hall has called on all residents to accompany the godfathers at this moment, which will officially kick off the fair of the Aljarafe municipality.
