Prodetur and the Espartinas Town Hall are organising a free course on managing catering service processes with 10 places and a scholarship for eligible students.
The Civic Participation Centre of Espartinas will be the venue for a free course on Managing Catering Service Processes, promoted by Prodetur in collaboration with the Espartinas Town Hall. The training, which combines theory and practice, is aimed at unemployed individuals and offers a scholarship to participants who attend at least 75% of the classes and do not receive benefits exceeding 75% of the IPREM.
The programme runs from 3 November 2027 to 5 January 2027, with a total of 200 hours: 120 hours of theoretical phase and 80 hours of practical phase. Sessions will be held Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 14:00. Only 10 places are available, so it is advisable to formalise the application as soon as possible.
Those eligible for the course are individuals over 16 years old who are unemployed and registered as job seekers with the Andalusian Employment Service (SAE), residing in one of the 101 participating municipalities and belonging to the beneficiary groups of the project. Priority groups include long-term unemployed individuals (more than a year without work), those over 45 years, especially women, individuals with disabilities of 33% or more, nationals from third countries, minorities, and those who can demonstrate economic vulnerability or risk of exclusion through a report from Social Services.
The required documentation must be submitted both at the time of application and at the start of the course. In addition to the specific requirements, applicants must have sufficient literacy, comprehension, and calculation skills.

For residents of Espartinas and the other participating municipalities, this initiative represents a training opportunity in a sector with a demand for personnel, especially in hospitality and catering. The scholarship helps cover expenses during the three-month duration of the programme.
