Espartinas Town Hall and Espartinas C.F. met to discuss the works at the municipal stadium, which include irrigation, grass, nets, and changing rooms.
The Espartinas Town Hall and Espartinas C.F. held a working meeting to review the actions that the Town Hall has been carrying out since the beginning of summer at the Inma Gabarro Municipal Stadium. The meeting was attended by the mayor, Cristina Los Arcos; the councillor for Sports, Susanna Ortega; the councillor for Finance, Juan Luis Núñez; the club president, Manuel Layosa; vice presidents Dolores Gómez and Pedro López; and member Amparo Lunar.
One of the main updates is the replacement of the control unit for the irrigation system, which already serves 3 of the 6 circuits of the field. The local government is already working on replacing the second system to complete the irrigation fully.
Regarding the artificial grass, the contracting process is underway to replenish the cork infill and maintain the playing field. The goal is to ensure the field is in perfect condition for use.
The safety nets behind the goals have already been repositioned, and the Town Hall will proceed to change those that are damaged, some affected by last winter's storms. Additionally, the comprehensive reform of the changing rooms, initiated last year, will be completed with the installation of new benches and hooks.
A process has also been initiated for the purchase of nets for 7-a-side goals, corner flags for the 11-a-side field, and other sports equipment. In terms of lighting, the Town Hall will inform the company installing the new LED towers, funded by a grant from the Seville Provincial Council, about a fault detected in one of the lights.
Painting work on the walls, doors, and fittings of the stadium is also underway. The Town Hall informed the club that there are other improvements planned for the municipal stadium, details of which will be provided soon.
