The Sevillian municipality of Guillena has started this week the fourth session of the 'Summer Adventure' programme, with the participation of 104 children aged between 3 and 12 years.
The Equality Area of the Guillena City Council has launched the fourth session of the 'Summer Adventure' programme, which began last Monday, August 10, with the participation of 104 boys and girls aged between 3 and 12 years. This fortnight will run until August 21, featuring sports activities, water games, experiment workshops, painting, cinema, and orientation games.
The programme, which is part of the 2025-26 Responsible Plan, is supported by the Ministry of Equality, the Social Inclusion Department of the Junta de Andalucía, and the Provincial Council of Seville. The camp started on June 29 and will extend until September 4, divided into five fortnights.
In the first fortnight, from June 29 to July 10, 178 children participated; in the second, from July 13 to 24, there were 145; and in the third, from July 27 to August 7, 120. There is one last fortnight, from August 24 to September 4, for which registrations are still open.
The programme is structured into three time slots: morning class from 7:00 to 9:00, camp class from 9:00 to 14:00, and midday class from 14:00 to 15:00. The prices are 5 euros for the morning class, 20 euros for the camp class, and 5 euros for the afternoon class; the complete package costs 25 euros.
Families with multiple children receive discounts: 10% for two siblings, 20% for three, and 30% for four or more. Additionally, there are reserved spots for children with special educational needs and five free social spots per session.
The camp aims to facilitate family reconciliation during the summer, providing an educational leisure space for the little ones. Families interested in the last fortnight can get information from the Equality Area of the Guillena City Council.
