The work addresses female genital mutilation, a practice that the author suffered in her childhood. The book is presented with the aim of raising awareness about this issue and defending the rights of girls and women worldwide.
The presentation is organized by Media Luna Publishing and the Town Hall of Guillena. According to the organizers, the book is born with the purpose of actively positioning itself against mutilation and in favor of women's freedom.
