The 'Made in Seville' Craft Fair Brings Together 41 Workshops in the City Centre Until October 13

The 'Made in Seville' Craft Fair opens with 41 workshops and 34 stands in Fray Ceferino González. Two shifts will rotate until October 13.

The fifth edition of the Creative Craft Fair 'Made in Seville' opens with 41 selected workshops and 34 stands on Fray Ceferino González street. The exhibition, organised by the City Council and the Craft Federation, runs until October 13.

Fray Ceferino González street, between the Catedral and the Archivo de Indias, hosts the autumn edition of the Creative Craft Fair 'Made in Seville' since September 15. The Commerce delegate, Álvaro Pimentel, inaugurated the exhibition, which will remain open until October 13 with the participation of 41 craft workshops from the city.

To accommodate all professionals in the 34 stands available, the organisation is repeating the rotation system in two shifts. The first will sell from today until September 28; the second will occupy the counters from September 30 to October 13. The venue will close on September 29 only for the technical changeover of the installations.

"Locating these 41 artisans in the tourist epicentre of the city is a strategic decision to showcase the talent of our entrepreneurs," emphasised Pimentel.

The delegate defended the fair as a direct commercial platform for workshops mostly run by self-employed individuals. As he explained, this annual event is one of the great opportunities to gain visibility among the general public.

The offering combines traditional crafts and contemporary design. There is pottery, ceramics, jewellery, enamel, textiles, leather, paper, bookbinding, engraving, and wood carving. This variety allows visitors to see a representative sample of local production and speak directly with the creators.

"Promoting local commerce, professionalising the craft sector, and defending the 'Made in Seville' brand are the pillars of this public-private collaboration," noted Pimentel.

The City Council of Seville and the Craft Federation of Seville promote this collaboration with the aim, according to the delegate, of protecting the productive identity of the city and providing long-term economic viability to the workshops.

The opening hours are uninterrupted: from 10:00 to 14:30 in the morning and from 18:00 to 21:00 in the afternoon. The fair is located in the historic centre, next to the main tourist attractions, allowing locals and visitors to buy directly from the artisans for almost a month.
