The Brotherhood of El Cachorro from Seville has sent a message of support to the Spanish National Team and, in particular, to its coach Luis de la Fuente, who is closely linked to the Triana corporation, ahead of the World Cup final against Argentina.
The national coach, Luis de la Fuente, has received an unexpected but heartfelt backing from the capital of Seville just before the most important match of his career. The Brotherhood of El Cachorro from Seville has made public a message of encouragement directed at the Riojan coach and the entire Spanish National Team, who will compete for the world title against Argentina this Sunday.
In a social media post, the Triana brotherhood recalled the close relationship that unites De la Fuente with the corporation and with the devotion to the Cachorro of Triana. The text, accompanied by images from Seville photographer Fran Santiago, reads:

A Bond Forged in the Euro 2024
This is not the first time the coach has shown his closeness to the Seville brotherhood. During the last Euro 2024, which Spain won in Germany, Luis de la Fuente wore a bracelet from the Brotherhood of El Cachorro on his wrist, a gesture that did not go unnoticed by the faithful of Triana. Now, on the eve of a new final, the corporation wanted to return that affection with a public message that has touched many Sevilla fans.

That image of the coach in front of the figure by Ruiz Gijón has become a symbol of the Riojan's connection with the city.
De la Fuente, an Adopted Sevillian
The coach's relationship with Seville goes far beyond a simple visit. Luis de la Fuente wore the Sevilla FC shirt for four seasons as a player in the 1990s, and later, between 2001 and 2005, he coached in the club's youth academy. There, he had under his command players who would later become legends such as Jesús Navas, Antonio Puerta, Sergio Ramos, Kepa, Fernando Vega, Lolo, Guille, Portela, or Prieto. A youth academy he has always spoken of with pride.
Moreover, the coach has confessed on several occasions his passion for bullfighting and his admiration for Curro Romero, a key figure in the most traditional Seville. In an interview with Radio Marca, De la Fuente even said that had he been a bullfighter, he would have liked to be like the Pharaoh of Camas.
