Seville City Council opens applications on October 1 for the 80 resident parking spaces at the new surface car park at Monte Pirolo square, in Triana. Interested parties will have until October 30 to submit their requests.
The Seville City Council will open the application period for one of the 80 resident spaces at the new surface car park at Monte Pirolo square, located behind Zurraque square, in the Triana district, at 00:00 hours on October 1, 2026. The deadline will close at 24:00 hours on October 30, 2026.
The facility will have 100 spaces for cars and 10 for motorcycles. Of the car spaces, 70 are reserved for residents and 30 will be for rotating use; the 10 motorcycle spaces will be exclusively residential. Applications should be addressed to the General Directorate of Mobility and can be submitted electronically through the Municipal Electronic Headquarters or in person at the General Registry of the City Council or at the auxiliary registries in the district.
Eligible applicants include individuals registered in the Triana district who own the vehicle or are listed as regular drivers. Each application must be accompanied by the general form, a photocopy of a valid ID, and a certificate of registration not older than six months, or the authorization for the Traffic and Transport Administrative Service to verify it ex officio. A maximum of two spaces per household is allowed, with a separate application for each vehicle.
The allocation will be organised in two phases to prioritise those under greater parking pressure. Phase 1 (Zone A) targets residents in the inner perimeter of San Jacinto, Pagés del Corro, San Vicente de Paúl, and Avenida Santa Cecilia, including all inner streets such as Maestro Jiménez, Vicente Flores Navarro, plaza Alcalde José Hernández Díaz, Antonio García Corona, plaza Monte Pirolo, Rafael Salas González, Aceituneras, José Cruz Auñón, Sor Manuela Ramos, plaza del Zurraque, Jardines Hermanos Garduño, Maestro Guerrero, Maestro Bretón, Sor Milagros, Jardín Francisco Gaitán Sánchez, Maestro Guridi, Miguel Ángel Olalla, Doctor Jerónimo Pou, and Ignacio Gómez Millán. Phase 2 (Zone B) will open only if there are vacant spaces for the rest of the district.
If the applications exceed the available spaces in either phase, the allocation will be resolved by public draw; if they are equal to or less than the available spaces, the allocation will be direct. Those selected must prove their connection to the vehicle with the registration certificate, the compulsory insurance policy identifying them as the regular driver, or a company certificate for company cars. Those who do not obtain a space will be placed on a permanent waiting list ordered by the date and time of submission.
The district delegate for Triana, Manuel Alés, highlighted that this initiative transforms a municipal plot that has been underutilised for years into a solution for the neighbourhood.
“This initiative by the government of José Luis Sanz allows us to transform a municipal plot that has been underutilised for years into a concrete solution for one of the problems that most concerns the residents of the district,” Alés emphasised.
The car park occupies 2,639 square metres and will feature surveillance cameras, control equipment, and permanent maintenance. Subscriptions will have stable rates for the four years of the concession: 110 euros per month for resident cars and 25 euros per month for motorcycles, VAT included.
“Guaranteeing reserved spaces for our residents at Monte Pirolo means less time spent searching for parking and ultimately gaining time and quality of life for the people of Triana,” concluded the delegate.
Residents interested in the area around Zurraque and Hispano Aviación have until October 30 to register their application. The resolution of the process, including a draw if necessary, will be announced after the application deadline.
