The City Council of Seville hands over the keys to 32 protected rental homes in two buildings in Torreblanca, with rents ranging from 425 to 590 euros per month. The operation includes 13 commercial premises and a total investment of 7.5 million.
The mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz, handed over the keys to 32 protected homes for rent in the neighbourhood of Torreblanca this Tuesday. The new tenants occupy two distinct developments, Torre Augusta and Torre Rosario, each comprising 16 homes and featuring parking spaces and storage rooms.
The homes have 2 and 3 bedrooms and are distributed across two separate buildings. The average rent is around 500 euros per month, including parking and storage, although prices range from 425 to 590 euros depending on the property and type.
Alongside the homes, the developments include 13 commercial premises aimed at boosting economic activity in the area. The total investment amounts to 7.5 million euros, of which the City Council of Seville contributes 4.5 million.
With this handover, the council has delivered a total of 802 protected homes and maintains 2,202 homes in various stages of development. The municipal goal is to expand the public rental stock in neighbourhoods like Torreblanca, where the demand for affordable housing is high.
"Today we have 2,202 homes in various stages of development. With these 32, we have now reached 802 protected homes delivered," the mayor noted during the event.
The new residents will receive their keys in the coming days and will be able to move into their homes immediately. The rents will remain within the ranges set by the City Council for this type of public development.
