The Palace of Exhibitions and Congresses in Seville will host the event 'SuperStars of the 90's' on October 10, an orchestral concert that will revisit 50 hits from the decade with special effects and a unique stage setup.

The electronic music that defined a generation will once again resonate in Seville on October 10. The Palace of Exhibitions and Congresses of Seville (Fibes) will host the event 'SuperStars of the 90's', an orchestral concert promising two hours of nostalgia with the greatest hits of dance, house, and trance from the 1990s.

The show, which will start at 21:00 with doors opening at 20:00, comes after eight years of festivals under the same name. The novelty of this edition is the incorporation of the Superstar Symphony Orchestra, which will perform live symphonic versions of tracks that made several generations dance.

A repertoire of 50 symphonic hits

The director of the event, Juan Paulo Gómez, has selected a repertoire of 50 tracks ranging from the commercial dance of Sonique, Gala, Snap! or Corona to the house of Robin S, Armand Van Helden, or Stardust. There will also be space for the electronic sounds of Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, or Faithless, the trance of Tiesto, Darude, or Robert Miles, and the bakalao of Pont Aeri and Sensity World.

The symphony orchestra will blend these classics with orchestral arrangements, creating a sound experience that, according to the organisers, "takes on another dimension". The concert will include a special medley dedicated to The Prodigy, one of the most iconic groups of the decade.

Tickets now on sale from 38.50 euros

Tickets for 'SuperStars of the 90's' are now available through the official Fibes tickets website. Prices range from 38.50 to 59.40 euros, depending on the chosen area: stalls, amphitheatre, or paradise.

The venue, which can accommodate thousands of attendees, expects to fill its stands with nostalgic fans wanting to relive the anthems of their youth. The organisation recommends buying tickets in advance, as previous editions have sold out weeks before the event.

A stage production with special effects

The concert will not be limited to music: the production will include special effects and lighting designed to immerse the audience in the atmosphere of the 90s. "It's a complete show, not just a concert," the organisers emphasise.

For electronic music lovers in Seville, this event represents a unique opportunity to enjoy a repertoire that is rarely heard live with symphonic accompaniment. Additionally, the event takes place in Fibes, a well-connected venue with nearby parking, making it easy to attend from anywhere in the province.

If you grew up with a walkman glued to your ear listening to cassettes of Dance, or simply want to rediscover those tracks that played in the clubs of the era, mark your calendar for October 10 in Seville. Doors open at 20:00, so arrive early to grab a good spot and get ready to dance.
