The Sevillian TikToker Fabiana Sevillano and her rival La Parce starred in the first public face-off of La Velada del Año VI, which will take place on July 25 at the Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville.

Nine days separate the amateur boxers from the big event at the Estadio de La Cartuja. The Teatro Coliseum in Barcelona hosted this Thursday the first public face-off in the history of La Velada del Año, an event that served as a prelude to the show that will gather thousands of people in Seville on July 25. On stage, all the protagonists of the fights, including Fabiana Sevillano, IlloJuan, Roro, Plex, and TheGrefg, experienced a day of anticipation and tension before the ring.

At the centre of the stage, a main table led by the event creator, Ibai Llanos, alongside commentators Luzu and Reven, who will repeat from La Cartuja. Behind them, the boxers awaited their turn to face off against their rivals. The physical absences were the Mexican Samy Rivers and Argentine journalist Gastón Edul, who participated via video call from their countries.

With thousands of viewers watching live, Ibai Llanos opened the event by reminding everyone that the preparation is almost complete:

“Practically, there is no training left to do.”
Luzu added that now it’s time to “finish the preparation gently and rest; everything is already set.”

Fabiana, the local fighter at La Velada

The Sevillian Fabiana Sevillano will act as the local fighter in the match against Colombian La Parce. Both have had the same preparation time, as they learned about their match simultaneously after another fight initially scheduled by Ibai Llanos fell through.

The Andalusian TikToker stated she is looking forward to the fight after several months of training.

“It has been a very beautiful few months; I would do them again one hundred percent. I can’t wait to fight,”
she affirmed. However, she acknowledged that the process has not been easy:
“I’ve had my ups and downs, but now I’m doing quite well.”

Her rival, La Parce, wanted to clarify some recent statements about her emotional state:

“I didn’t mean to say I was thinking of quitting, just that I was going through a rough time. I have everything documented and will share it in a few days.”
During the conversation, it was also revealed that there was another creator interested in facing Fabiana, although their identity was not disclosed.

Commentator Luzu highlighted the content that the Sevillian has shared during her preparation, stating that she has particularly connected with the audience. Fabiana explained that training changed her initial perception of boxing:

“I started thinking I would be good at this sport, and when I began, I realised I was terrible at it.”
The creator attributed her evolution to working with professionals and the support of peers who will also participate in La Velada, some with experience from previous editions, which “helped her stay grounded.”

For the Sevillian audience, La Velada del Año VI represents a unique event: the Estadio de La Cartuja will be the stage for an event that blends sport, entertainment, and social media. The tickets, which sold out in a few hours, have generated great anticipation in the Andalusian capital. Attendees will be able to enjoy amateur boxing matches featuring some of the most popular streamers and influencers of the moment, with Fabiana as the local representative.

The organisation has confirmed that the event will have enhanced security measures and giant screens so that the audience does not miss any detail. Additionally, areas for dining and official merchandise will be set up. For those unable to attend, the event will be broadcast live on Ibai Llanos' Twitch channel.
