Utrera's Asphalt Plan Revamps La Mulata, Mar Adriático and Antonio Susillo

Utrera's Asphalt Plan, with a €1.5 million investment, has already renewed the streets of La Mulata, Mar Adriático, and Escultor Antonio Susillo.

Utrera's Asphalt Plan works, with an investment of nearly 1.5 million euros, are already showing results in several streets of the La Mulata neighbourhood and in the roads Mar Adriático and Escultor Antonio Susillo, where the renewal is practically finished.

The Utrera City Council has declared the asphalt works in the La Mulata neighbourhood and in the streets Mar Adriático and Escultor Antonio Susillo to be practically completed, as part of the first phase of the Asphalt Plan that began last April. The project, which has an investment of around 1.5 million euros, aims to renew the pavement and improve road safety at various points in the city.

In La Mulata, the works began after an initial intervention at the main entrance of the Multi-Purpose Building. The surface of the streets Constelación Pavo Real, Constelación Cisne, Constelación Hércules, Constelación Buril, Constelación Lince, Constelación Unicornio, and Torre de Matrera, as well as the avenue Corona Austral, has already been renewed. Only a few minor interventions remain to conclude this area.

In the streets Mar Adriático and Escultor Antonio Susillo, the new layer of asphalt is also nearly laid. In the latter street, the works of horizontal signage and painting on the renewed roadway are already noticeable, a step that will extend to the rest of the intervened roads.

The next focus of the plan is on two of the main entry arteries to Utrera: the avenues José Dorado Alé and General Giráldez. Currently, work is being done on the medians, where the tree pits have already been conditioned and is being installed to reduce maintenance and provide a more orderly appearance.

According to the municipal forecast, the milling and asphalting works on these avenues will begin in mid-August. The roadway currently shows various damages due to use and the passage of time, so the renewal will represent a significant improvement in appearance and traffic safety.

With this first phase, the Utrera City Council takes another step in improving the city's road infrastructure, with a plan that will continue in the coming months to address other areas pending renewal.
