The Education delegate of Utrera, Francisco Arjona, assures that the Early Childhood Care Centre continues to provide care normally and will do so while the hiring with the Junta de Andalucía is regularised.
The Early Childhood Care Centre (CAIT) of Utrera will continue to provide its service normally, as confirmed by the Education delegate of the City Council, Francisco Arjona. This assurance comes after the Junta de Andalucía ordered the regularisation of the hiring process, which had previously been carried out by the City Council and must now depend on the regional administration.
The order from the Junta establishes that the service cannot be provided indirectly, that is, by hiring companies through the municipalities. In the case of Utrera, the hiring had been done by the City Council, but at the request of the Junta, it was time to regularise it. The service is being provided normally and will continue to do so, Arjona stated.
To address this change, the City Council has carried out the hiring of a physiotherapist, thereby completing the municipal unit in Utrera. Thanks to this addition, it is now possible to provide the service directly, although the number of municipal team members does not allow for the care of the more than 130 users that the centre has.
One of our greatest concerns was to equip Utrera with its own CAIT, with municipal employees, so that regardless of what happens over time, the children of Utrera can always continue to receive care
The delegate explained that, as it is not possible to meet all the demand with municipal staff, the Junta must take charge of hiring the remaining necessary personnel to provide the complete service. It should be noted that the service provided in Utrera is of a regional nature and also serves children from other localities.
Arjona pointed out that contact with the Junta has been constant to ensure that the service is offered without problems. In this regard, he announced the decision of the regional administration, communicated in writing to the City Council, which states verbatim that the City Council must continue to provide the service within the framework of the current delegation until the complementary mechanisms planned are put in place.
With all this, the Education councillor wanted to send a message of reassurance to families.
We can guarantee all families whose children are being cared for at the CAIT that we will maintain, until the Junta takes charge, exactly the same service that is currently being offered and that there will be no modifications
The CAIT of Utrera will continue to operate with the same daily attention while the transfer of responsibilities to the Junta de Andalucía is completed. Families can be assured that continuity of care is guaranteed.
