The Ministry of Development and Mobility is already working on the urban section of the A-394, between the Northern Ring Road and the junction with the Los Molares road. The intervention is part of the Extraordinary Asphalting Plan and will renew nearly nine kilometres between Utrera and Arahal.
The works to renew the surface of the A-394 as it passes through Utrera are already underway. The Junta de Andalucía is acting in the section between the Northern Ring Road and the junction with the Los Molares road, one of the main entry and exit routes of the city.
This action is part of the Extraordinary Asphalting Plan of the regional government and includes the renewal of the surface of the A-394 between Utrera and Arahal, covering nearly nine kilometres of intervention. The Ministry of Development and Mobility is responsible for carrying out the work.
The mayor of Utrera, Francisco Jiménez, has stated that the start of the works responds to requests made by the City Council to the Junta to improve the condition of the access roads to the town.
“From the City Council, we have been conveying to the Junta the need to improve the condition of the access roads to Utrera and to act especially at those points that showed greater deterioration. The A-394 is a fundamental route for the communications of our city, and this action represents a necessary improvement for all users who travel on it daily.”
The intervention on the A-394 continues the actions that the Junta de Andalucía is carrying out on other regional roads that connect Utrera, such as the A-375, towards Puerto Serrano, and the A-362, which links the city with Los Palacios y Villafranca.
During his visit to Utrera last August, the Minister of Development and Mobility, Mario Muñoz-Atanet, announced that, following the works on the A-375, the efforts would move to the A-394, with plans to begin in September.
Drivers who use this route daily, both to enter and exit Utrera and to travel towards Arahal and other municipalities in the region, will notice improvements in the sections with the greatest surface deterioration. It is recommended to be alert to possible traffic restrictions while the works are carried out.
