The Mairena del Alcor Town Hall has renewed the pipe network of the indoor pool and is preparing improvements in fire safety, reception, and façade funded by the treasury surplus.
The Councillor for Sports of the Mairena del Alcor Town Hall, Javier Rodríguez, has detailed the works being carried out at the municipal indoor pool to enhance service and energy efficiency of the facility.
The most advanced action is the almost complete renewal of the pipe network, which affects the water heating system. This intervention ensures the supply at the appropriate temperature in both pools, in the showers, and in the general climate control of the venue.
Additionally, the extraordinary plenary session approved projects funded by the treasury surplus that will allow for new improvements. These include the upgrading of the fire safety system, the remodeling of the access area, the reception desk and hallways, and painting and refurbishment work on the entire façade of the building.
“There may be occasional water cuts or minor adjustments,” the councillor warned, asking users for patience and encouraging them to report any incidents in the changing rooms or common areas to the staff for immediate resolution.
Rodríguez explained that, as these are ongoing works that must be tested at full capacity with the installation in operation, it is likely that there will be occasional incidents. Therefore, he thanked the cooperation of the residents who use the indoor pool in advance.
The works are taking place during the summer and will continue in the coming weeks. Users can report any issues directly to the facility staff so they can be resolved as quickly as possible.
