Pinar Espeso will be the venue for the first day of the Provincial Cross-Country Circuit 2026-2027, organised by the Sevilla Provincial Council. The event, on October 24, brings together athletes from across the province.
The municipality of Mairena del Alcor will once again be the starting point for the Provincial Cross-Country Circuit 2026-2027. The first day will take place on October 24 at Pinar Espeso, a natural setting that has previously hosted this competition organised by the Sevilla Provincial Council.
The choice of Mairena as the inaugural venue is repeated year after year, as highlighted by the Mairena del Alcor Town Hall, which values the work of its Sports Delegation and the municipality's capacity to host major sporting events. The surroundings of Pinar Espeso, with its terrain and landscape, once again make the locality a provincial reference for cross-country running.
The day will have the collaboration of the Miguel Ángel Gómez Campuzano Athletics Club (CAMAGC), which will assist in the organisation of the event. Participation from athletes across the province is expected, competing in the various categories of the circuit.
