The Seville Provincial Council has opened the call for accommodation scholarships for the 2026-2027 academic year, endowed with 1.2 million euros. Students from Lebrija pursuing University Degrees or Higher Vocational Training can apply for up to 4,000 euros.
Students from Lebrija who are studying higher education outside their municipality can apply for the new accommodation scholarships announced by the Seville Provincial Council for the 2026-2027 academic year. The initiative has a budget of 1.2 million euros and provides aid of up to 4,000 euros per student.
The Lebrija City Council, through its Education and Youth departments, has informed residents about the opening of this aid line, aimed at facilitating the continuation of university studies or Higher Vocational Training for those who need to reside outside their hometown for academic reasons.
As a major new feature compared to previous years, the Provincial Council has expanded the profile of potential beneficiaries. Thus, students enrolling in the third year of University Degree can apply for the scholarship for the first time, in addition to those in the first and second years. Those who previously received aid can also renew it if they continue to meet the requirements.
The aid is aimed at both University Degree students and Higher Vocational Training students. The maximum amount per student will be 4,000 euros, although the final amount will depend on personal circumstances and the evaluation criteria established in the call's regulations.
From the Lebrija City Council, students who meet the requirements are encouraged to submit their applications and take advantage of this aid line, which represents significant financial support to continue their university education or Higher Vocational Training on equal terms.
Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the Electronic Headquarters of the Seville Provincial Council. Interested parties must complete the designated form and attach the required documentation as outlined in the regulations, which can be consulted on the provincial institution's website.
The application period is already open, although the Provincial Council has not specified a concrete closing date. The Lebrija City Council recommends that students do not delay the process and carefully review the requirements to avoid errors in the application.
This call is part of the Seville Provincial Council's policy to support young talent and territorial cohesion, preventing geographical distance or economic situation from hindering access to higher education. For students from Lebrija, who often have to travel to Seville or other cities to pursue their studies, these scholarships represent significant financial relief.
The aid can be used to cover rental expenses, university accommodation, or living costs, as long as they are related to accommodation outside the family home during the academic year. The evaluation criteria will include family income, academic record, and the distance between the place of residence and the study centre.
For more information, students can contact the Education or Youth departments of the Lebrija City Council, or consult directly the electronic headquarters of the Seville Provincial Council.
