The Diputación de Sevilla has opened the application period for the Reset Scholarships, with a budget of 1.2 million euros and aid of up to 4,000 euros per student for accommodation.

The Ayuntamiento de Lebrija has encouraged students in the municipality to apply for the Reset Scholarships from the Diputación de Sevilla, a call that offers aid of up to 4,000 euros per student to cover accommodation costs during their higher education studies. The application period is open until 11 August, and the processing is done exclusively online through the Diputación's Electronic Headquarters.

The programme, endowed with 1.2 million euros, is aimed at young people pursuing University Degrees or Higher Vocational Training in public centres who need to move and reside outside their municipality of origin. The initiative seeks to prevent housing costs from becoming an obstacle to the continuation of academic training.

One of the main novelties of this edition is the inclusion of students who are entering the third year of their University Degree for the first time, which expands the number of potential beneficiaries. Additionally, those who received aid in the previous call can apply for renewal if they meet the established economic and academic requirements.

From the Lebrija City Council, it has been pointed out that this aid represents significant support for families and facilitates young people in developing their academic project with greater guarantees, regardless of their place of residence or economic situation. The Diputación de Sevilla, for its part, emphasises that the programme aims to promote equal opportunities in access to higher education.

To submit an application, interested parties must access the Electronic Headquarters of the Diputación de Sevilla, where they can consult the call's bases, access requirements, and necessary documentation. The Ayuntamiento de Lebrija recommends that students in the municipality who meet the conditions inform themselves in advance and not wait until the last day of the deadline.

The maximum amount of 4,000 euros per student is intended to cover part of the accommodation expenses, a cost that in many cases is decisive when deciding whether or not to continue studies. The Diputación has reminded that the scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis, so it is important to submit all the required documentation correctly.

In previous editions, the programme has benefited hundreds of students from the province of Sevilla, many of them from municipalities like Lebrija, where the higher educational offer is limited and forces young people to move to other locations. The Reset Scholarships have established themselves as a key tool for retaining young talent in the territory.

Students who wish for more information can contact the Ayuntamiento de Lebrija or consult the website of the Diputación de Sevilla. The application period ends on 11 August, so it is recommended to start the process as soon as possible to avoid potential technical issues.
