The Municipal Sports Board and the Lebrija Cycling Club are organising a 9 km route through the streets of the town, starting and finishing at the Municipal Sports Centre. The event, open to all ages, will kick off at 22:00.
Lebrija will once again fill its streets with bicycles on the night of Thursday, September 3rd, with the celebration of the Night Bicycle Ride 'Summer 2026'. The event, organised by the Municipal Sports Board of the Town Hall of Lebrija and the Lebrija Cycling Club, will start at 22:00 from the Municipal Sports Centre.
The route, approximately 9 kilometres long, will pass through various streets of the town and will finish back at the sports complex. The activity is designed for all ages, with a participatory and family-oriented character, so the procession will be led by Local Police and an organisational vehicle that will travel at a reduced speed.
The itinerary will depart from the Municipal Sports Centre and will go through Avenida Barcelona, Avenida Atenas, Calle Avefría, Calle Salvador Allende, Calle Tetuán, Calle Sanlúcar, Calle Zancarrón-Jazmín, Avenida Cañada del Río, Avenida Dr. José Viel, Avenida Dr. Fleming, Avenida Cruz de Mayo, Avenida Antonio Calvo Ruiz, Avenida Países Bajos, Calle Canga, Avenida José Fernández Ruiz, Calle Corredera, Plaza de España, Calle Trinidad, Calle Luis Collado, Camino del Aceituno, Calle Seúl, Plaza del May and Avenida Barcelona, concluding at the starting point.
The organisation has prepared a security device involving Guardia Civil, Local Police, Civil Protection and the clubs Darle 4X4, Vespineros Lebrijanos and Ciclista Lebrija. Additionally, there will be medical services and an ambulance. Among the rules, it is reminded that wearing a helmet is mandatory for all participants.
At the end, cyclists can enjoy a final party at the Municipal Sports Centre with water and a raffle for bicycle-related gifts. Among the prizes will again be the traditional bicycle donated by Necatorres, a collaborating company of the initiative.
The event also has the collaboration of the Tartessos Basketball Club and the companies Necatorres and Tomás Sonido. The Municipal Sports Board encourages citizens to participate and turn the streets of Lebrija into the stage for a special night on two wheels.
