The Sevillian municipality joins the Diputación's initiative, which will use data to improve the management and promotion of the destination. Local businesses will be able to access analysed information to expand their offerings.

The City Council of Osuna has announced its integration into the Provincial Tourism Intelligence Platform of Seville, a project driven by the Diputación through the Provincial Computing Society (INPRO). The initiative, framed within the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and funded by the European Union with NextGenerationEU funds, aims to incorporate the use of data into the management and promotion of the provincial tourist destination.

For Osuna, this incorporation represents a step forward in enhancing future projects developed by other local entities belonging to the Network of Smart Tourist Destinations, which will feed into this platform and will be made available to both the sector and the public.

Businesses in the municipality will be the main beneficiaries. The progressive incorporation of data will allow them to have useful information to better understand the existing offerings in the area and to expand their own tourist offerings. Furthermore, integration into the platform increases their digital visibility and provides access to already analysed real data, facilitating the personalisation of tourist experiences.

The platform will be fed by the information provided by the various municipalities in the province, with the aim of creating a shared data ecosystem. For visitors, this will translate into an offering more tailored to their preferences, while for public managers it will represent a key tool in decision-making.

The Diputación of Seville, through INPRO, is already working on the implementation of this platform, which will be expanded with the incorporation of new municipalities. Those interested in learning more details about the project can consult the information published on the Diputación's website.
