The Sevillian municipality of Estepa has joined the province's Tourism Intelligence Platform, driven by the Diputación with European funds.
The Town Hall of Estepa has confirmed the municipality's incorporation into the Tourism Intelligence Platform of the province of Seville, an initiative promoted by the Provincial Diputación through the Provincial Computing Society (INPRO). The project, funded by European funds, aims to apply data analysis to the management and promotion of the Sevillian tourist destination.
The integration will allow Estepa to enhance future projects developed by other local entities integrated into the Network of Smart Tourist Destinations, whose data will feed the platform and be made available to both the tourism sector and the public.
For businesses in the municipality, the gradual incorporation of data will represent a significant advance. They will be able to better understand the existing offer in the area and expand their own, as well as increase their digital visibility and access already analysed real data, which will allow them to personalise the tourist experiences they offer.
The initiative is part of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) and is funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU funds.
The platform, which will be implemented gradually, promises to become a key tool for data-driven decision-making, both for public administrations and for the tourism business fabric of the province.
