The Osuna Town Hall has approved the expansion of the land where the elderly residence will be built, exceeding 12,000 m². The project will include green areas and parking.
The future elderly residence in Osuna, to be built on the site of the old hermitage of Santa Ana, takes another step towards its construction. The mayor, Rosario Andújar, announced that the municipal council approved the expansion of the land, incorporating a plot that will be designated for green areas and parking.
With this expansion, the total area of the complex will exceed 12,000 square meters, as detailed by the mayor. The project will gain open spaces, gardens, and leisure areas, aiming to provide the greatest possible well-being for future users and to turn the residence into a place where a good quality of life can be enjoyed.
In addition to residential and day unit places, this expansion will make the environment of the residence more pleasant and functional, both for residents and their families and visitors. The Town Hall aims for the centre to integrate into the neighbourhood and offer a friendly environment.
The Town Hall continues to progress in the economic feasibility study of the project. As Andújar explained, once these technical works are completed, presumably after the summer, the tender for the construction and subsequent awarding of the works will be published.
The mayor expressed her satisfaction with the progress of a project she described as "very exciting for Osuna" and that will address one of the municipality's main needs. The future residence will have between 90 and 100 residential places and another 20 to 30 for the day unit.

These places will offer specialised, close, and quality care, tailored to the care needs of the elderly population, in modern and fully adapted spaces. The residence will thus become a key resource for the elderly in Osuna and its region.
The old hermitage of Santa Ana, located in the urban area, will be the site on which this facility will be built. With the expansion of the land, the project gains in area and design possibilities, allowing for the creation of a larger and brighter centre, with outdoor spaces that promote the well-being of residents.
