The Umbrete Town Council has announced the schedule for the launch of pyrotechnic devices for the 2026 Fair, which will take place from August 20 to 24. The programme includes tracas, fire bulls, and a final rocket.

The Sevillian town of Umbrete is preparing to celebrate its 2026 Fair with an extensive programme of pyrotechnic launches between August 20 and 24. The Umbrete Town Council has provided information on the timings and locations of these shows, which comply with municipal ordinance number 40, regulating the handling and use of pyrotechnic devices.

The devices will be of category F3, which implies a controlled risk level and requires specific safety measures. The organisation is the responsibility of the town council itself, except for the final rocket on August 24, which will be the responsibility of a private individual.

On Thursday August 20, the fair will kick off with an opening traca scheduled for around 10:00 PM. In the early hours of Friday, at 1:00 AM, the children's bull is planned, and at 2:00 AM the warnings and the fire bull.

On Friday 21 and Saturday 22, the pyrotechnic activity will be concentrated in the evening, with launches at 7:00 PM, 7:30 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM. That same night, after midnight, the warnings and fire bulls will be added at 3:00 AM and 3:30 AM.

Sunday August 23 will be an intense day, with launches at 12:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 7:00 PM, 7:30 PM, 8:00 PM, and 9:00 PM. At 11:30 PM, the children's fire bull will take place, and in the early hours, at 3:00 AM, the warnings and the adult fire bull.

On Monday August 24, the main day of the fair, events will begin with a wake-up call between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM, with claps and a traca. Throughout the morning, launches are scheduled for 10:00 AM, 10:30 AM, and 11:00 AM. The day coincides with the San Bartolomé procession, which will feature tracas at the start and finish, as well as rockets during the route. The final rocket will take place at the entrance of the procession.

The programme will conclude in the early hours of Tuesday August 25 with a fireworks display at 1:30 AM and, an hour later, at 2:30 AM, the warnings and the final fire bull.

The launches will take place in the Plaza de la Constitución and, on August 24, along the route of the procession. The fireworks for the end of the party will be launched near the fairgrounds.

The Umbrete Town Council reminds that these events are subject to municipal regulations and that necessary safety measures will be adopted for the enjoyment of residents and visitors. The public is advised to follow the instructions of municipal services and respect the designated areas to avoid incidents.
