Tomares offers a teleassistance course for people over 45

The Town Hall of Tomares and the Chamber of Commerce of Seville offer a 300-hour teleassistance course for unemployed people aged 45 to 60. Registration is open.

The Town Hall of Tomares and the Chamber of Commerce of Seville launch a 300-hour course for unemployed people aged 45 to 60. Registrations are now open.

The Town Hall of Tomares, through its Local Development Agency, and the Chamber of Commerce of Seville have opened the registration period for a new course in 'Home Teleassistance Management'. The training, lasting 300 hours, is aimed at unemployed individuals aged between 45 and 60 who are registered in the municipality.

This training initiative is part of the agreement signed between both institutions under the Talent 45+ Programme, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+). The aim is to improve the employability of those over 45 in the locality, a group facing particular difficulties in entering the job market.

The course will be held from September 21 to December 17, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm, in the training room of the Tomás de Ybarra Cultural Centre, located at 1 Concepción Ibarra Street. Places are limited to 20 students, so early registration is recommended.

Participants will learn to properly assist users of the home teleassistance service: from managing incoming calls and alarms to mobilising resources, as well as the action protocol and the first contact with the user after the service installation. They will also be trained in effective telephone communication techniques, teamwork, and daily incident management.

Additionally, the programme includes training in psychosocial skills for telephone assistance and handling crisis situations, as well as training in new technology applied to advanced teleassistance. No prior specific knowledge is required.

Interested individuals must be registered as job seekers with the SAE and be aged between 45 and 60, inclusive. Registrations can be made through the Chamber of Commerce of Seville's website or via the form provided by the Town Hall. More information can also be obtained on the employment portal of the council.

This new training initiative follows the success of the 'Concierge-Receptionist' course, lasting 150 hours, which took place on April 13 and was also aimed at this same group.
