Thousands enjoyed last night at the Feria de Tomares concerts by David Civera and Peterpunk & The Diablo Band, closing a crowded fair day.
The Saturday, September 5 was one of the highlight nights of the Feria de Tomares. Thousands of locals and visitors gathered at the venue to see David Civera live, filling the municipal tent with his hits and ballads.
The artist, known for representing Spain in Eurovision in 2001 with Dile que la quiero, thrilled the audience with a repertoire that revisited the best of his career. Next up was the Seville band Peterpunk & The Diablo Band, led by Pedro Ortiz, who capped off the evening with a concert that featured the debut of Ortiz's son on drums, a particularly emotional moment for the attendees.
Earlier, the fusion flamenco group Agustele livened up the afternoon with their rumbas and sevillanas, getting everyone at the venue dancing. Throughout the day, the entertainment also moved to the tents, with special attention to the municipal tent, where the town's seniors celebrated their traditional fair lunch.
The event was attended by the mayor of Tomares, José María Soriano, and members of his government team, who accompanied the seniors during the meal. Local artist Ely Silva was in charge of providing musical entertainment for the gathering.
The Feria de Tomares continues these days with a programme designed for all audiences, featuring children's activities, musical performances, and gastronomic proposals at the venue.
