The Preferia night in Palomares del Río saw great community participation at the fairgrounds, with attractions at special prices and a parade of Alice in Wonderland.

The Preferia night held this Monday in Palomares del Río brought together numerous locals at the fairgrounds, who enjoyed a programme specially aimed at children. The festive atmosphere lasted well into the early hours, with activities designed for all audiences.

One of the most appreciated measures by families was that the attractions operated for several hours without music, an adaptation aimed at children with autism spectrum disorder. Additionally, during that time, special prices were applied to the rides, as reported by the Palomares del Río Town Hall.

The parade ‘Alice in Wonderland’ filled the streets of the town with colour and recognizable characters from Lewis Carroll's work, delighting both the little ones and the adults accompanying them.

The live music was provided by the group A Tu Vera, which capped off an evening that serves as a prelude to the main days of the fair. The band enlivened the venue with a varied repertoire that maintained the good atmosphere until the end of the night.

The Town Hall has reminded that this Wednesday marks the inaugural day of the 2026 Fair of Palomares del Río, an event that will kick off with the traditional lighting and will feature a wide range of activities for all ages. They also noted that the gallery of images from the Preferia day is now available on the municipal website for those who wish to relive the best moments.
