On September 2, the fairground will host the traditional Night of the Fish with a parade, band, and the lighting ceremony. The Municipal Tent will take over with a performance by Al Son.
The Fair of Palomares del Río celebrates this Wednesday, September 2 its most anticipated day: the Night of the Fish, an event that brings together locals and visitors every year at the Fairground of the municipality.
The programme will kick off at 22:30 with the parade of the charanga, followed by the performance of the Music Band at 23:15. Both groups will create a festive atmosphere before the central moment of the night.
At 00:00, the official lighting ceremony is scheduled, an event that will feature local resident Pilar Gordillo Caro, who will press the switch to illuminate the tents and streets of the fairground.
After the lighting, the party will continue at the Municipal Tent with a performance by the group Al Son, who will take the stage from 01:00 to liven up the early hours.
The celebration is part of the programme for the Fair of Palomares del Río 2026, which takes place at the fairground and the Municipal Tent of the Sevillian municipality.
Attendees will enjoy a night designed for reunion and dancing, with the lighting as the main highlight. The organisation encourages participation in a day that marks the midpoint of the local festivities.
