The Inclusive Area of Palomares del Río Town Hall has opened registrations for the 2026-2027 Memory Workshop, which is free and aimed at exercising cognitive functions. The sessions will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 to 13:00 at the Social Services Building.
The Inclusive Area of the Palomares del Río Town Hall is keeping the registration period open for the 2026-2027 Memory Workshop, a free activity for which only materials need to be provided. The sessions will begin in October and will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 12:00 to 13:00, in the multipurpose room of the Social Services Building, located at Calle Mairena S/N.
The program includes cognitive-behavioural activities aimed at stimulating attention, concentration, and reasoning. These activities are designed to work on functions that are affected by cognitive decline due to the passage of time, as explained by the Town Hall.
“We need to exercise the brain to keep it fit,” states the Inclusive Area.
Interested individuals can register at the Social Services Building, call 637 960 841, or email serviciossociales@palomaresdelrio.es. The workshop is open to anyone wishing to participate in this municipal initiative for active ageing.
