The writer and storyteller Ana Belén Marchal Gallardo was in charge of leading the activity. Her tale transported attendees to an imaginary forest where a fox, a hummingbird, and a chameleon discover that being different is something natural and valuable.
The children followed the story with an explorer's card in hand. The narration developed with humour, rhythm, and constant audience participation, according to the Town Hall of Palomares del Río.
At the end of the story, the afternoon continued with a creative workshop. Attendees decorated their own masks inspired by the protagonists of the tale, a hands-on activity that extended the reading experience.
