The Town Hall of Mairena del Aljarafe launches the third edition of Fórmate, with 20 free online courses spread over three stages. The first starts on October 5, 2026, and the application period is already open.
Residents of Mairena del Aljarafe who wish to improve their CV or change sectors now have a new way to do so. The Town Hall has opened the registration period for the third edition of Fórmate, its free online training programme, which this year offers a total of 20 courses.
The offer is divided into three stages and covers very different content: from artificial intelligence, equality and first aid to office automation, business management, occupational risk prevention or waste treatment and recycling.
The usual duration of each training course is 50 hours, although some specific courses extend up to 90 or 150 hours. Those who complete the course will receive a diploma issued by the Town Hall.
“We want to offer modern training adapted to what companies demand today, but also flexible so that each person can find options that fit their needs, time and goals,” says the Employment delegate, Otilia Padial.
The first block of courses will start on October 5, 2026. Applications for this stage can be submitted now and will continue to be accepted until the start date. The next batches will begin in January and April 2027, with their own registration periods.
People aged between 18 and 67 registered in Mairena del Aljarafe who meet the requirements can participate. Each applicant may request up to four courses, with one application for each course they wish to enroll in, indicating their order of preference.
The processing can be done online, through the municipal electronic headquarters, or in person at Hacienda Porzuna. For queries, the Town Hall can be contacted at empleo@mairenadelaljarafe.org and by phone at 954 178 860.
Fórmate is part of municipal initiatives to bring training closer to citizens and the town hall staff. The third edition maintains the online format, allowing courses to be combined with work or studies.
