A total of four companies have submitted their bids to execute the second phase of the Paving Plan for Mairena del Aljarafe. The contract, with a budget of one million euros, includes the renovation of several streets and avenues in the municipality.

The Mairena del Aljarafe Town Hall has received four bids from companies interested in executing the second phase of its Paving Plan. The contract, which has a budget of one million euros (including VAT), will allow for the renewal of the pavement on several roads in the municipality. Once the deadline for submitting proposals has passed, the council has initiated the administrative processing for the awarding of the contract.

The planned works in this phase include Nicaragua Street, the PISA roundabout, Ávila Street, Valle Colorado Street, Europe Avenue, Dance Street, Mariana Pineda Avenue, the Americas Avenue, and the Discoveries Avenue. In some cases, the works will cover the entire length of the street, while in others, they will focus on specific sections, according to the needs identified by the municipal technical services.

Additionally, the terms of reference include several improvements that bidding companies can offer to obtain a higher score in the evaluation. Among them are the renovation of the alley between Trascorrales and Music Street, Aurora Boreal, Simún, Ciruela, Virgen de la Salud, Santa Ana, Zurraque, and Esmeralda streets, as well as the installation of 20 speed bumps in different areas of the municipality.

The Town Hall will evaluate the submitted bids according to the criteria established in the terms of reference and will award the contract to the company that obtains the highest score. It is expected that the works will begin in the coming months, once the administrative procedures are completed.

The Mairena del Aljarafe Paving Plan does not stop here. The council is already working on a third phase and subsequent actions to continue progressively renewing the streets and avenues of the municipality. The goal is to update the condition of the roadways, improving road safety and the comfort of residents.

This second phase represents a significant advance in the maintenance of the local road network, which has shown notable deterioration in some areas in recent years. With an investment of one million euros, the works are expected to have a positive impact on urban mobility and the quality of life of residents.

Residents of the streets included in the plan will benefit from renewed pavement that will reduce potholes and irregularities, facilitating the transit of both vehicles and pedestrians. The installation of speed bumps will also help to moderate speed in areas where higher traffic has been detected.

The Mairena del Aljarafe Town Hall has highlighted the importance of this plan to maintain urban infrastructure in good condition. The renewal of the asphalt is one of the recurring demands of citizens, who see these works as a direct improvement in their daily lives.
