The 'Cinema Wednesdays' cycle in Gines brought 'Mufasa, the Lion King' to El Cortijuelo Park. Screenings continue until September 2.

El Cortijuelo Park in Gines has hosted a new session of the 'Cinema Wednesdays' cycle, which fills the green spaces of the municipality with stories every summer. On this occasion, attendees were able to watch 'Mufasa, the Lion King', Disney's live-action film that expands the famous saga.

Families and audiences of all ages gathered to enjoy a night of outdoor cinema, in an atmosphere that has become a regular summer event in the town. The organisation is managed by the municipal Culture department.

The cycle does not stop here. The next screenings will take place at Concejala Dolores Camino Park, where 'Snow White' will be screened on August 12 and 'Lilo & Stitch' on August 19, both at 10:00 PM.

The programme will continue afterwards at Manolo Pérez Park, which will close the 2026 cycle with two sessions: 'Elio' on August 26 at 9:30 PM and 'Bad Guys 2' on September 2 at the same time. All sessions are outdoors, so it is recommended to bring your own chair for greater comfort.
