The Espartinas Town Hall has launched a programme to rehabilitate urban furniture that includes the installation of 300 bins, the replacement of benches, bike racks, and picnic tables. The first actions have already been carried out in the Alquería de Almanzor urbanisation and in the Jerónimo Camino and Parque Norte parks.

The Town Hall of Espartinas has initiated a plan to renew the furniture in its public spaces. The first phase has focused on the Alquería de Almanzor urbanisation, where 20 new bins have been installed, and in the Jerónimo Camino and Parque Norte parks.

The mayor, Cristina Los Arcos, and the councillor for Works and Services, Filo Carmona, have visited these locations to check the results of the actions. The programme includes the installation of a total of 300 bins, which will replace those that are deteriorated and will be installed in new locations.

In addition to the bins, the plan includes the replacement and installation of new benches, the installation of bike racks in municipal buildings, parks, and areas of interest, and the incorporation of picnic tables in the green areas of the municipality.

"A programme that improves the image of our public spaces, encourages their use, and contributes to the well-being of the citizens," according to municipal sources.

The work will continue in the coming weeks in other areas of the municipality. The aim is to renew urban equipment to enhance residents' experience in streets, squares, and parks.
