The Town Hall of Valencina de la Concepción and the Brotherhood of Torrijos present on Sunday, September 27, a new monumental sculpture dedicated to the Christ of Torrijos, created by the sculptor Chiqui Díaz.
The plaza of Our Lady of the Star will host the presentation of a new monumental sculpture dedicated to the Christ of Torrijos on Sunday, September 27. The event, driven by the Town Hall of Valencina de la Concepción, will begin with a performance by the Choir of the Brotherhood of Torrijos.
The work has been commissioned to the sculptor Chiqui Díaz, an artist with a recognized career in the field of imagery and monumental sculpture. The piece thus becomes part of the artistic and devotional heritage of the locality, linked to one of its most established brotherhoods.
In addition to the music, the evening will include the screening of an audiovisual presentation and a light and image show designed by José María Roca, of Imperdible Performing Arts. With these elements, the Town Council aims to turn the event into a cultural and religious occasion for all residents.

The event will take place in the plaza of Our Lady of the Star and is open to the participation of all residents of Valencina de la Concepción. The presentation of the sculpture is part of the municipal programming for heritage, tourism, and festivals, which in recent years has promoted various initiatives to enhance devotion to the Christ of Torrijos.
The event will begin with a performance by the brotherhood choir and will lead to the audiovisual projection and light show. Admission is free until capacity is reached, according to the municipal announcement.
