The Bormujos Town Council is organising a new edition of beach trips with departures to eight coastal destinations during July and August. Tickets, priced at 7 euros, will be on sale from tomorrow at the Atarazana.

Bormujos is resuming its summer beach trip programme, which includes eight different destinations for residents to enjoy the Andalusian coast during July and August. The initiative, which has become a traditional event in the municipality, will start on July 6 and run until August 24.

Ticket sales will begin tomorrow and will take place at the Atarazana, open Tuesday to Thursday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm and Fridays from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm. Each ticket costs 7 euros and payment will be made exclusively by bank card. The Town Council reminds that no reservations will be made and each person can purchase a maximum of five tickets.

To formalise registration, interested parties must present a completed application and a photocopy of their ID for each registration. In the case of those under 18, it is mandatory to provide a signed authorisation from a parent, guardian or legal representative, along with a photocopy of the ID of the person giving the authorisation. The documentation must be submitted at the time of purchase.

The schedule of departures starts in July with four destinations: on the 6th to Matalascañas beach, on the 13th to El Palmar, on the 20th to El Portil, and on the 27th to Conil. In August, the trips will continue with Mazagón on the 3rd, Rota on the 10th, Punta del Moral on the 17th, and Bolonia on the 24th. All departures will be by bus from Bormujos, with schedules communicated at the time of purchase.

This initiative, which is repeated every summer, aims to provide an affordable option for families to enjoy a day at the beach without having to travel by their own vehicle. In previous editions, demand has been high and places have sold out quickly, so the Town Council recommends purchasing tickets as soon as possible. For more information, residents can go to the Atarazana during public opening hours.

Matalascañas beach, located in the municipality of Almonte, is one of the most popular destinations due to its proximity and services. El Palmar, in Vejer de la Frontera, is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and beach bars. El Portil, in Punta Umbría, offers a protected natural environment, while Conil is famous for its coves. In August, Mazagón, Rota, Punta del Moral, and Bolonia complete a varied offer that includes everything from urban beaches to virgin beaches like Bolonia, famous for its dunes.

With this proposal, Bormujos reinforces its commitment to accessible summer leisure, making it easier for residents to enjoy the summer without worrying about transport or parking costs on the coast. The trips are open to all ages, although minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
