The Guillena Town Council is carrying out maintenance and improvement work during the summer in the four Infant and Primary schools in the municipality, with an investment of nearly 80,000 euros.
The Education Area of the Guillena Town Council has taken advantage of the months of July and August to implement a maintenance, improvement, and minor works plan in the four Infant and Primary schools in the municipality. The actions include painting, repairs, and space adaptations, with the aim of ensuring that the next school year begins under the best conditions for students and teachers.
In addition to these general works, a more significant intervention is taking place at the CEIP Nuestra Señora del Carmen de Torre de la Reina, where a complete renovation of the Primary school’s back playground and its access is being carried out. This action adds to the other works being developed during the summer period.
In total, the council has allocated nearly 80,000 euros to these actions, which are distributed among the various educational centres in the locality. The works are expected to be completed before the start of the school year in September.
With this investment, the Guillena Town Council aims to ensure that educational facilities are in optimal condition for the return to classrooms, a concern that particularly worries families and the educational community in the municipality.
