The Alcalá del Río City Council has announced the official programme for its Fair and Patron Saint Festivities in Honour of San Gregorio de Osset, which will take place from September 9 to 13. Over five days, the municipality will host traditional events, concerts, and activities for all ages.
Among the classic events will be the Function and Procession of the Patron, the lighting ceremony, the inaugural toast, the Tribute Dinner for the Elderly, the Cucaña Game, the Fire Bulls, and the Release of Heifers. The musical offerings will be led by Los Inhumanos, Miguel Zerpa, and Rocío Rosa, along with DJ sessions, a KPOP concert, and freestyle football performances.
On Thursday, September 10, between 22:00 and 23:00, the “Sin Ruido” segment will take place, a measure aimed at making the fair more inclusive for people with ASD. This initiative remains one of the key aspects of the municipal programme.
For the little ones, there will be a free play area and an initiative inspired by the San Fermines with chupinazo. A tourist train and horse rides are also planned, allowing residents and visitors to comfortably explore the fairgrounds.
The complete programme is already available for consultation, as reported by the Alcalá del Río City Council, which encourages citizens to plan their fair in advance. The town is thus preparing to experience days of community and tradition in honour of its patron.
