Real Betis Balompié has confirmed a new friendly against UD Almería on August 1 in La Línea, thus completing its pre-season schedule. Tickets are now on sale.
The verdiblanco team will face UD Almería next Saturday, August 1 at 20:00 at the Estadio Ciudad de La Línea (Cádiz). This match concludes a pre-season of seven matches designed by Manuel Pellegrini to be fully prepared for the start of the 2026-27 season.
Seven matches to gain momentum
The preparation tour kicks off this Saturday in Germany against Sportfreunde Lotte. It will be the first test for Pellegrini's charges, who will then travel to Huelva to face Recreativo de Huelva on July 22.
Three days later, on July 25, Betis will go head-to-head with Granada CF. And on July 29, Olympique de Lyon will be the opponent in a high-level European clash. All these matches will serve to fine-tune the machinery.
Two tough English tests to finish
The final stretch of pre-season will be particularly demanding. On August 5, Betis will face Arsenal FC in a match that promises strong emotions. Just three days later, on August 8, it will be the turn of AFC Bournemouth, another Premier League team.
