The Town Hall of Morón de la Frontera and Prodetur offer 40 hours of in-person training for unemployed individuals and professionals in the tourism sector.
The Town Hall of Morón de la Frontera, in collaboration with Prodetur, an entity dependent on the Provincial Council of Seville, has organised a new training course titled “Local Tourism Promotion, Events and Route Design”. The training action, which is in-person and lasts 40 hours, aims to enhance professional skills and employment opportunities linked to the tourism sector.
Classes will be held on the 21st, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, 28th, 29th, and 30th of September, and on the 1st and 2nd of October 2026, from 16:30 to 20:45 hours. The venue will be the La Estación Training Centre, located on Pozo Sevilla street, in the old railway station, next to the Cepsa petrol station.
The training is particularly aimed at unemployed individuals who wish to improve their employability and update their CVs, although entrepreneurs and professionals interested in expanding their knowledge, enhancing their management skills, or exploring new business opportunities may also participate.
During the 40 hours, students will cover topics such as local tourism promotion, the design of tourism products, the creation of cultural and heritage routes, heritage interpretation, event organisation, and the design of participatory tourism experiences. The programme will also focus on promotion through social media, sustainability, accessibility, and coordination among tourism, cultural, and social agents in the area.
One of the main objectives of the course is for participants to apply what they have learned to a real proposal, developing their own project for a local tourism route or event, from resource selection and audience definition to planning, promotion, and evaluation of the initiative.
The Town Hall of Morón de la Frontera highlights the importance of providing specialised training that responds to new employment opportunities and the needs of the current economic market, especially in a municipality with significant historical, cultural, and natural heritage.
