The Seville Chamber of Commerce has brought together the Chinese multinational Skywell with transporters and dealers to explore investments in electric mobility in the province.
The meeting, held on 17 September 2026 at the Seville Chamber of Commerce, served for the Chinese multinational Skywell New Energy Vehicles Group to present its plans for electric commercial vehicles to representatives of passenger transport and dealers from Seville and Andalusia.
The event was inaugurated by the Chamber's president, Francisco Herrero León, who highlighted the technology of the Asian company and the province's interest in renewing its fleets towards more sustainable models. Also speaking at the event were Zhu Ping, General Director and co-CEO of Skywell Group, and Xu Dongfeng, Senior Advisor of European Pangji International Consulting Group.
Local representatives included Francisco Moreno Muruve, First Vice President of the Chamber and President of Codimotor, and Ángel Díaz, member of the executive committee and Managing Director of Autocares Casal, along with executives from dealership companies and the passenger transport sector in the province.
The event was organized by the Association of Chinese in Andalusia, driven by Manuel Viñuelas, with the collaboration of the consulting firm European Pangji International Consulting Group.
Sources from the Chamber indicate that such meetings aim to attract foreign investment and open technological cooperation avenues for companies in Seville. The meeting is part of the electrification process of urban and interurban transport that is already affecting operators in the province.
Attendees were able to learn firsthand about the characteristics of Skywell's electric commercial vehicles, a manufacturer with an international presence in the fleet segment. The Chamber has not yet specified whether these discussions will lead to concrete agreements for purchase or industrial implementation in Seville.
The Chamber institution thus maintains its agenda of contacts with foreign groups to position the province as an investment destination in sectors linked to energy transition.
