RCD Espanyol has put tickets on sale for the first four home matches, including the clash against Sevilla FC, which will take place on September 5 or 6 at the RCDE Stadium.

Sevilla FC already knows the dates for its first away trip of the 2026-27 season in LaLiga. The Nervión team will visit RCD Espanyol in the fourth round of the championship, a match that will be played on September 5 or 6 at the RCDE Stadium in Cornellà-El Prat. The perico club opened ticket sales for that match and three other home fixtures on Wednesday.

The clash against Sevilla will be one of the highlights of the league start for Espanyol, which will also host Levante UD, Real Madrid, and Elche FC in the early rounds. Of all these, the match against the Seville team is scheduled for the first weekend of September, although the final time has not yet been confirmed by LaLiga.

For Sevilla FC, this match will be the second away game of the season after visiting Real Valladolid in round 3. The team led by García Pimienta faces a demanding start to the season, with significant opponents and the need to earn points to establish themselves in the upper part of the table.

Sevilla's schedule in the early rounds

Sevilla FC will start the league at home against Villarreal CF in round 1, before visiting Real Valladolid in round 3. The September international break will interrupt the competition after round 4, meaning the match against Espanyol will be the last before the first international break of the season.

The Nervión team will be looking for a positive result in Cornellà to approach the break with confidence. The RCDE Stadium is historically a challenging venue, although Sevilla has achieved good results in recent encounters against Espanyol.

Tickets on sale for the general public

Espanyol has made tickets available to fans for this match through its official channels. Members and season ticket holders of the perico club have a 10% discount on the purchase of additional tickets, an option designed for those who want to attend with family or friends.

The price of tickets varies depending on the opponent, the area of the stadium, and demand. Given that Sevilla FC is one of the most attractive teams in the category, high demand is expected for this match.

For Sevilla fans wishing to travel to Barcelona, the club has not yet communicated whether it will have tickets for its supporters or the details of the organised trip. It is usual for Sevilla FC to allocate a limited number of tickets for its followers based on the agreement between both clubs.

Espanyol season ticket holders do not need a ticket

Espanyol has reminded that season ticket holders already have access to all league matches at the RCDE Stadium included, so they do not need to purchase any additional tickets. The open sale is aimed at the general public and those members who wish to buy extra tickets.

The match against Sevilla FC will be played at a time yet to be determined, although it is expected to be on the weekend, as round 4 is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6. LaLiga will confirm the final time in the coming weeks.

Sevilla FC, for its part, continues with its pre-season and finalises signings to strengthen the squad for a season in which it aims to return to European positions. The clash against Espanyol will be a litmus test to measure the team's level at the start of the league.
