The former player and current team manager of Sevilla FC, Salva Sevilla, reflects on his first season in charge and assures that the club will soon be in La Liga.

Salva Sevilla, a former footballer and now team manager of Sevilla FC, has spoken to the media to assess his first year in the role, a period he describes as "bittersweet" due to the sporting outcome. The Seville team did not achieve promotion to La Liga, the primary objective, but the former player is convinced that "very soon we will be where we deserve to be".

In an interview, Salva Sevilla explained that his role at the club is to "be in the shadows", supporting the players on a daily basis and managing the team's logistics. "They have me 24 hours a day," he states, highlighting that his 20 years of professional experience allows him to understand the needs of the squad. "That is my great asset," he acknowledges.

When asked about his role as a potential spokesperson for the club, the Almerian asserts that he is "here for whatever is needed" and that he tries to represent the club and the city "in the best way possible". He emphasizes that Sevilla FC "is growing a lot" and needs everyone's help to achieve its goals.

Salva Sevilla also referred to the first team's coach, García Pimienta, saying that he "comes with freshness, with very clear ideas" and that the squad knows his philosophy. The team is already preparing for the next season with an eye on promotion.

The former player, who shared a dressing room with several current staff members, wanted to thank everyone in the club's departments for their support. "They have made things very easy for me," he notes.

The Sevilla fans, who were initially wary of Salva Sevilla's arrival as a player, seem to have moved past that phase. The man himself assures that he has explained that episode many times and that he is now only focused on the team's future.

With pre-season just around the corner, Sevilla FC is finalizing the details of its sporting planning. The management trusts in Salva Sevilla's experience to smooth the workings of the dressing room and ensure that the team competes at the highest level in the Second Division with the aim of returning to the elite.

The club, which is already working on signings for the next campaign, is maintaining the core of the squad and hopes to complete several additions in the coming weeks. The fans, for their part, remain excited about the project and trust that this will be the season of the long-awaited promotion.
