Utrera City Council has announced a job pool for psychologists specialised in gender equality. The registration deadline ends on 27 July 2026.
Utrera City Council has launched a job pool to fill positions for equality psychologists at the Municipal Women's Information Centre (CMIM). The selected individuals will work as interim civil servants for a maximum period of three years, extendable by one more year.
Requirements to participate in the psychologists' pool
Candidates must hold a Degree or Licence in Psychology. Additionally, specific training in gender equality is required, with a minimum of 200 credited teaching hours through courses, master's degrees, or postgraduate studies.
At least one year of experience in public or private entities in areas such as equal opportunities, psychological care for women in situations of inequality, or intervention with victims of gender-based violence is also required. Professional registration with the corresponding Official College of Psychology is mandatory, or candidates must be in a position to obtain it at the time of appointment.
How and when to submit the application
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Electronic Headquarters of Utrera City Council (sede.utrera.org), using the procedure for "Participation in selection processes". The 20-day period begins on 8 July and ends on 27 July 2026.
Along with the application, candidates must attach proof of payment of fees (18 euros), the required qualification, and documents that certify training, experience, and registration. The fee is a small outlay that grants access to a position with job stability in the local public sector.
Selection process and validity of the pool
The selection will consist of a competitive examination with a multiple-choice questionnaire of 50 questions (plus 5 reserve questions) on the syllabus included in the bases. The exercise will be scored from 0 to 10, with at least 5 points required to pass. It is eliminatory, so it's time to study hard.
The job pool will have a maximum validity of three years from its establishment, with the possibility of an additional one-year extension depending on service needs. This means that candidates who are not called immediately may be required later, which broadens opportunities for psychologists in the area.
For residents of Utrera, this call represents a qualified employment opportunity in the field of equality, an area with growing demand. The CMIM serves women from the municipality, so the selected professionals will work directly with the local community, providing individual and group psychological support. Responsibilities also include coordination with other municipal services and administrative tasks specific to the position.
"The aim is to ensure quality psychological care for women in need, with professionals specialised in gender equality," sources from Utrera City Council state.
The complete bases of the call are available in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Seville. Interested parties can consult them to prepare the syllabus and details of the process. The deadline, 27 July, leaves little room for manoeuvre, so it's advisable to hurry if one wishes to apply for one of these positions.
