The Dos Hermanas Town Hall is improving pavements, accessibility, and facilities in seven children's areas of the municipality, with new inclusive play equipment.
The Dos Hermanas Town Hall continues the renovation of seven children's areas spread across different neighbourhoods of the municipality, an initiative aimed at modernising play spaces and adapting them to the current needs of families.
The work focuses on the areas of Huerta Sola, La Redondilla, Barriada del Rocío, Estefanía Gallardo, Parque Los Pinos, Las Infantas, and Padre Ramón Ramos Torres, where safety pavements are being replaced, accessibility is being improved, enclosures are being repaired, and new play elements, some of an inclusive nature, are being installed.
According to municipal sources, the work is progressing as planned and will allow the youngest to enjoy safer and more comfortable spaces. The project is part of a broader plan that has already intervened in other areas such as Cantely, Chaparral, Los Potros, San José de Calasanz, El Palancar, Bolsena, La Moneda, Plaza de Arahal, Consolación, and Los Montecillos.
The main objective is to adapt the areas to the criteria of universal accessibility, safety, and quality, as well as to expand the range of play equipment so that all children can use them on equal terms. With this initiative, the Town Hall reinforces its commitment to maintaining public spaces in different neighbourhoods of Dos Hermanas.
The continuous monitoring of the works is allowing progress to be made as expected, bringing closer the completion of an intervention that will improve the network of children's areas and the quality of life for families who use them daily.
