The Mairena del Alcor Town Hall publishes the call for the operation of the market in the old fair promenade between the 5th of December 2026 and the 7th of January 2027. Interested parties have 10 calendar days to submit their applications.
The authorization to set up and operate the Christmas Market of Mairena del Alcor is now underway. The Town Hall has published the call for the land concession that will allow the occupation of the old fair promenade, on Avenida de Andalucía, during the upcoming Christmas season.
The chosen formula is a single global concession. This means that the person or entity awarded the contract will then have to manage the individual licenses for each of the stalls and attractions participating in the venue.
The authorized operating period will start on the 5th of December 2026 and will last until the 7th of January 2027, as stated in the municipal decree.
Interested parties have 10 calendar days to submit the required documentation. The counting begins from the publication of the call on the municipal website and on the electronic announcement board.
Applications must be addressed to the Mayor's Office. They can be submitted in person at the General Registry of the Town Hall or at the Villa of Knowledge and Arts, as well as through the telematic means provided in Law 39/2015.
If more than one application that meets the technical and administrative requirements is received, the allocation of the space will be resolved through a public draw.
The City Council has made available to interested parties the distribution plans, application forms, and the rest of the documentation of the file. Specifically, the Decree of the call and Annexes I and II of the regulatory ordinance for the occupation of public domain with stalls and fair attractions, sales booths, public shows, or occasional recreational activities outside the Fairgrounds can be consulted.
For residents, the calendar already sets the dates when the market will be able to open its doors during the Christmas festivities, once the allocation is resolved and the stalls are installed.
