Four representatives from the Local Childhood and Adolescence Council of Lebrija attended the provincial pre-meeting held in Seville. The meeting prepares for the IV Provincial Meeting, which will take place in Camas in November.

Four representatives from the Local Childhood and Adolescence Council (CLIA) of Lebrija participated last Thursday 17th September in the provincial pre-meeting of Local Childhood and Adolescence Councils from the province of Seville, accompanied by the Education delegate, Paula García.

The event took place at the CPA Cerro del Águila in the capital of Seville and served as a space for participation and preparation for the IV Provincial Meeting of Local Childhood and Adolescence Councils, which this year will be held in Camas during the month of November. The previous edition took place in Lebrija.

The attending children and adolescents shared proposals and discussed the topics that will be addressed at the upcoming provincial meeting, actively participating in defining its contents. Work was also done on the poster for the IV Provincial Meeting, which is scheduled for publication in mid-October.

Technical staff from the Territorial Delegation in Seville of the Ministry of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality of the Junta de Andalucía were present at the session, providing support and institutional coordination for these spaces of child and adolescent participation.

Alongside the representatives of the CLIA of Lebrija, children and adolescents from other municipalities in the province attended, such as Las Cabezas, Los Palacios and Villafranca, Dos Hermanas, Camas, and Tomares.

The City Council of Lebrija highlights the importance of continuing to promote spaces where children and adolescents can express their opinions, make proposals, and participate in issues that affect them. The council thus maintains its commitment to child and adolescent participation in the municipality.
