The Lebrija Association of Heart Patients is organising a day of activities on Tuesday, September 29, featuring a healthy walk, a manifesto reading, cardiopulmonary resuscitation workshops, and a talk on healthy habits.
Lebrija will host a day of activities on Tuesday, September 29 to commemorate World Heart Day. The programme is organised by the Lebrija Association of Heart Patients (ALEC) in collaboration with the Lebrija Town Hall, the UGC Lebrija Centre for Health Our Lady of the Castle, and the Andalusian Health Service (SAS).
The events will kick off at 9:30 AM with a healthy walk starting from the Health Centre and ending at the Plaza de España. At 10:00 AM, the World Heart Day manifesto will be read.
Half an hour later, at 10:30 AM, health professionals from the SAS, the HARE, and the Health Centre will conduct a cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) workshop. At 11:00 AM, there will be exercises led by the physiotherapy service of the HARE and heart games organised by ALEC. The morning will conclude at 11:30 AM with a healthy breakfast.
In the afternoon, at 5:30 PM, the Youth House will host the talk “Healthy Habits”, presented by Alicia Vela, a community nurse from the Health Centre.
The initiative aims to raise awareness among residents about the prevention of cardiovascular diseases and the adoption of healthier lifestyle routines. ALEC is part of the health associative fabric of Lebrija and develops cardiac rehabilitation activities, as well as informative sessions on healthy eating and the care of people with heart conditions.
All proposals are open to public participation and do not require prior registration. The event will take place on Tuesday, September 29 at the indicated locations in the municipality.
