The Town Hall of Pilas has confirmed that the issuance and renewal service for the DNI and passport will return to the municipality on Friday, September 18. Appointments can be requested from Monday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m. via an online form, and spaces are limited.

Residents of Pilas who need to renew or issue their DNI or passport will be able to do so without leaving the municipality starting from Friday, September 18. The service, which returns after a period of absence, will be set up at the Fairgrounds of Pilas, a change of location from previous editions.

The processing will be completed on the same day: applicants will be able to take their new or renewed documents immediately, both the DNI and the passport. Therefore, there will be no need to wait to receive them by post or to make a second visit.

To access the service, it is essential to make an appointment in advance through the registration form provided by the Town Hall of Pilas. The registration period opens on Monday, April 19 at 10:00 a.m. and spaces are limited.

Registration does not guarantee a spot for this specific date due to high demand. However, registered individuals will enter a waiting list for future editions.

The council warns that high demand may leave some registered individuals without an appointment on September 18. Those who do not secure a spot in this round will be placed on a waiting list for future editions of the service.

The return of this mobile office prevents residents from having to travel to other towns to renew basic documentation, a process that usually generates queues and travel. The application form is available on the municipal website, and the registration period begins on April 19 at 10:00 a.m.
